I’m Kai, a wedding photographer based in Squamish, BC.

I pick up my camera to find beauty in the simplest moments.

Both in my travels and at weddings I bring a documentary approach, telling a story through images. Photography has introduced me to so many incredible people and places, and I bring that diversity of experience to my work. I photograph weddings and elopements in the Sea to Sky, Vancouver and beyond. I also shoot Super 8 wedding films.

Travel, climbing, biking, trail running, skiing and adventure of all kinds. Books..lots of books.


When I'm not shooting weddings you can find me in the mountains. Whether it's climbing towers in Utah, hiking to backcountry huts in Argentina or traversing snow-covered ridges here in our own backyard. I love spending time adventuring with my wife, family and friends.
