Rebecca and Alex had their wedding at Glacier Valley Farm on the banks of the Squamish River. A hidden gem just north of Squamish, this wedding venue boasts a sprawling property and a rustic style farmhouse. As you wind your way up Squamish Valley road, the property sits amongst dense forests with sweeping views of Alpha Mountain, and easy access to the Squamish River.
The couple and their wedding guests embraced the opportunity to make themselves at home, either camping on the property or residing in the charming Airbnbs onsite or nearby. Prior to the wedding day, most guests seized the chance to explore the nearby trails, on mountain biking or hiking adventures, setting the stage for an unforgettable weekend.
The couple held their wedding ceremony outside, in front of the stunning mountain backdrop. After the ceremony everyone gathered around, shucked oysters, and enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and cold drinks under a willow tree. As day led into night, the party headed inside the recently renovated barn which makes an incredible venue for a sunset wedding reception and dance party. Below is a collection of my favourite photos from this fun outdoor wedding.
