Kai Jacobson

I'm a wedding photographer and Super 8 filmmaker based in Squamish, BC.

I spend most of my time outdoors, and that perspective shapes my work. Climbing, mountain biking, skiing, trail running, and long days in the mountains are where I feel most at home.

My wife and I got married by the river in Squamish, surrounded by friends and family. There were a few kegs of beer, a Greek food truck, and a proper backyard party. We spent five months climbing and running through South America on our honeymoon. Now we have a little girl and are learning how to do it all with her. The mountains are smaller, the distances shorter, and there are a lot more snacks involved, but it’s been a good ride so far.
